To Annie,
I'm moving at the end of the year and am starting a new school. I'm worried about what people with think when they realise I have diabetes. Please help I don't want to be embarrassed and not have any friends.

To Sophie,
Thanks for sending in a question, it's great to hear from you! I know how hard it can be moving schools, especially with diabetes. The worst thing you could possibly do (don't do this please!!) is hide your diabetes and not take care of yourself. Think of your new school as a new experience, if you think negatively of it, then your experience might feel negative as well. As for your diabetes, you'll defiantly make new friends, but if they don't like the fact that you have diabetes, then they defiantly are not your true friends. If they are your friends, they'll accept you for who you are.
Thanks again!
